Focus Stacking & Multi-Image Stitching
Saturday, April 29th, 2017,  12pm - 3pm  $45
The first half of this class is dedicated to understanding all about focus stacking. Focus Stacking is a process used to achieve the maximum depth of field possible for any shot. It's primary use is macro photography where maximum depth of field is extreme difficult to attain. You'll learn the proper shooting techniques and learn about the software required and the processing techniques. The second part of the class is devoted to multi-image stitching. This technique is used to maximize resolution, angle of view and depth of field. Again, you'll learn the shooting and processing techniques and software need to produce images you never thought possible. This is great for macro photography and for wide angle shooting that goes beyond your lowest focal length. There's more to it than just panoramas.

Lightroom - Advanced Editing Techniques & Workflow
Monday, May 1st, 2017, 12pm-3pm, $45
I've been teaching Lightroom for 9 years now and I've heard one thing above all from my students, "I understand Lightroom, but how do I fix this image?" Basically, just learning and knowing the software doesn't imply you know how to effectively edit your images. There's more to editing than moving sliders around. In this class, we'll go through the advance method of editing images. We'll answer questions like, "what order do I use the tools in?", "how much is too much?", "what's the difference between sharpening and clarity and contrast?" I'll demonstrate the new powerful light-sculpting method of editing images using just 3 basic tools.

Understanding Exposure
Wednesday, June 14th, 2017,  6pm - 9pm  $45
Understanding how exposure works is one of the most important core fundamentals in photography. It is also one of the more complex areas in photography to really grasp. Exposure is a difficult concept to teach oneself and with much misinformation in today's photography teachings, it's all-to-common to be misdirected and confused about how exposure really works. In this class we'll dig deep and really learn how to think about exposure modes and how aperture, shutter speed and ISO can work to your benefit in a more effective way.
