Lightroom - Level 1:  Quick Start - Library & Develop

1-Sunday, March 5th, 2017, 12:00pm-5:00pm, $85
Adobe Lightroom is the hottest photo editing and image management program to come out since Photoshop.  It does not replace Photoshop, they're used in conjunction with each other.  In this presentation style class we'll go through the most important parts of the Library and Develop sections.  You'll be able to get photos into Lightroom, organize them, edit them and export them with much more speed and efficiency. For those users who have tried learning Lightroom on their own or by hit and miss learning through "internet resources," this class will quickly get you back on course in the right and happy direction.  For users who feel a bit of review is in order, this class is perfect for that as well.  This class is for beginners to intermediates, no prior classes are required. My book, Lightroom 6 & CC: Start Here First - The Library and Develop will also be available for $35.

Lightroom - Advanced Editing Techniques & Workflow
1-Wednesday, March 15th, 2017, 6:00pm-9:00pm, $55
I've been teaching Lightroom for 9 years now and I've heard one thing above all from my students, "I understand Lightroom, but how do I fix this image?" Basically, just learning and knowing the software doesn't imply you know how to effectively edit your images. There's more to editing than moving sliders around. In this class, we'll go through the advance method of editing images. We'll answer questions like, "what order do I use the tools in?", "how much is too much?", "what's the difference between sharpening and clarity and contrast?" I'll demonstrate the new powerful light-sculpting method of editing images using just 3 basic tools.
